Surface rights matters involve complex proceedings involving tribunals, possible appeals, and potential Court applications and actions. We have advised and litigated a substantial amount of surface rights matters since 2005 by acting for various landowners in Alberta against small to large operators. We also work with land experts to assist in the administrative and litigation process as their matter progresses to a tribunal hearing or Court hearing.
